Join in on the festivities the night before the festival with our annual Oktoberfest Pub Crawl.
Miss Kitty is your host for a of night beer swilling at prominent bars on Main St. in Galena, IL. Bring your favorite stein! Give-aways included!
Here is how it works…
Start off with the group at 6:00 pm at the Green Street Tavern and follow along to…
6:30pm The Eagles (FOE)
7:00pm The VFW
7:30pm Elks Club (not confirmed yet)
8:00pm Cornerstone
8:30pm Paradise
9:00pm Fried Green Tomatoes
9:30pm Gobbies
10:00pm Galena Beer Company
10:30pm The Gold Room (may not be re-opened yet)
11:00pm The Grape Escape
Punch cards available for Grand Prize drawing. Follow with the group or pick up registration at any participating business to go at your own pace or in your own order. Goodie bags with limited, custom beer mugs for $10 to get your party started! Complimentary give aways by The Grape Escape and the Galena Downtown Business Association.
Please drink responsibly and donate generously the next day to our Galena Lions at Oktoberfest in the Depot Park!
TRANSPORTATION
Please do not drink and drive. It’s safe to say that if you’re on a pub crawl, you’re going to blow over the limit whether you think you can drive or not.
The DeSoto House Hotel, The Main Street Inn, and 305 N. Main are the three places right on Main St. for lodging. Many other B&Bs are within one mile of your last crawl stop. And even more B&Bs might offer personal transportation for you.
But do not worry, we have a lot of other options too!
