Lojo Russo – solo acoustic guitar, hippie rock.
From sweet folk to raw roots to aggressive funk she has built a career playing outside the box. Russo’s enormous stage energy, powerful voice and percussive playing style belie her small frame. This little lady puts on one heckuva show.
Her band history reflects her style of music – a little bit of everything. Russo’s played bass in a psychedelic jam band, mandolin in a Celtic group and guitar in every kind of funk, folk, jazz, and rock combination you can imagine.
Through it all she combines her sense of music with her sense of humor. Sometimes outrageous, sometimes intense, always original.
Lojo Russo is a professional performer with 10 years experience playing festivals to front steps, coffeehouses to concert halls.
